RELAXED FAMILY SESSIONS
Our Relaxed Family Sessions are specially designed for deaf, disabled, neurodivergent visitors, and those who prefer a more relaxed environment. These sessions feature:
- Reduced capacity for easier movement and comfort and more space for wheelchair users.
- Sensory adaptations, including minimised noise, low lighting, and a chill-out space with sensory lighting, bean bags and fidget toys.
- Visitors are welcome to move around the experience as they please and make noise as they wish throughout.
- The venue is wheelchair accessible; and you can find step free disabled toilets at in the café at Hot House as well as a Changing Places toilet at Salford University, 5 mins away. We are centrally located with step free transport links close by.
- Tickets for Relaxed Family Sessions must be booked in advance. SEND visitors are eligible for an accompanying, complimentary carer’s ticket, which is available to book with your Relaxed Family Sessions ticket.
- Copies of our Easy Read and Visual guides will be available to download soon.
