I’m from Southgate, I was born in north London.
I’m a jazz singer, you know, that’s what I come from.

And I was cute until the age of about five. Then I got naughty, very, very naughty.

I grew out of it by the time I was about nine though

My album’s a kind of straight jazz hip hop cross,

I write all the lyrics myself. I write on the guitar

I just wanted to write music that was emotional and that people would want to listen to and connect with.

Love is my drug choice; no I do, I do like, I do like a drink. But you know everything in moderation. I do take it too far. Sometimes.

I probably cried yesterday because I always get too emotional

I always said I never wanted to write about love, and then I went and did that anyway.

And, you know, when, you’re quite emotionally tied into someone is never that…simple.
